Virka is a health companion for life. Virka is a health companion app, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice.

Getting help

Email vlad@virka.ai with any question, problem, or bug report. Every email is read and answered by a person, usually within two business days.

It helps to include the device you are using (iPhone, Android, or web), which data sources you have connected, and roughly when the problem happened.

What is Virka?

Virka is your health companion for life. It keeps your records, labs and plan in one place, and helps you actually follow that plan, for the problem in front of you now and for the long run. It reads your body, calendar, and journal and turns your plan into a short daily read, connecting signals no single app sees on its own.

Do I need a wearable to start?

No. You do not need a wearable to begin. Connect an Oura ring, Apple Watch, Android health data, or your calendar when you are ready, and each source sharpens your daily read. Start simple and grow the picture over time.

What makes the daily read different from generic advice?

Every line is grounded in your own data and your own plan, not population averages and not a general chatbot. Virka reads your numbers (sleep, HRV, calendar load, and how you have been journaling lately) alongside the plan you or your care team set, and tells you what changed and what it means for today. It is a mirror, not a parent: it shows you the cost and lets you decide.

Is Virka a replacement for my doctor or coach?

No. Virka is a health companion app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. For anything involving symptoms, diagnosis, or treatment, see a licensed clinician. Virka sits alongside your doctor and coach, not in place of them.

Who can see my data, and how is it protected?

Your data is used only to run Virka, never for advertising, and we never sell it. To generate your daily read and chat, relevant summaries of your biometric, calendar, journal, and profile data are processed by Anthropic's Claude API as our processor. Structured health records such as bloodwork are encrypted and held on your own device; the raw records are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

On-device records are removed when you delete the app. Your account, journal, and profile data are held until you delete your account or the specific data, after which they are removed. You can request deletion any time by emailing vlad@virka.ai.

How much does it cost?

Virka is in external testing, and testers have full access. At launch, Free keeps your wearable sync, journal, trends and full history. Member, at €15 a month (€12 a month billed yearly), adds the AI coach, daily briefings and the full program library. Pro, at €29 a month, adds early access and the option of a human coach.

Which devices and apps does Virka work with?

Virka connects to WHOOP, Oura, Apple Health (Apple Watch and iPhone) on iOS, Android health data through Health Connect, and Google or Outlook calendars. You only ever connect a source after you authorise it, and you can revoke access any time.

How does Virka get to know me?

Beyond your numbers, Virka builds a profile of how you work: your goals, and details optionally collected during your first week (chronotype, coach voice or DISC style, saboteur patterns). The more you journal and connect, the more your daily read sounds like it actually knows you.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app at Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. Deleting removes your account, journal, profile, and connected health data.
